I enjoy hearing from you and how you love decorating. It is a satisfying hobby isn't it?

Don't you just hate it when you work so hard on the laundry or the dishes and then, before 24 hours are up, it looks like you've haven't done anything?
A day spent painting, tiling or rearranging the furniture will bring results which you'll find yourself enjoying for a long time to come. A tremendous amount of on-going satisfaction awaits you!

The Never Ending Pile
Dangerous Diversion
You're probably like me in that you love reading all the magazines and watching as many HGTV shows as you can. We're all on a first name basis with Candace, Joan and that House Hunter's girl who wiggles when she talks. We constantly fantasize about decorating a new home.
The problem comes if we never take action. In the time it takes to watch MISSION: ORGANIZATION, there's a space in your own home that could be cleaned and organized. Get started - you can do it! Let's not live the experience just through the television homeowners.
3 Quick Action Steps
I want to motivate you with three quick projects that will give you that decorating rush we all love so much:
1.) Buy a large print from an import or craft store and use it to liven up a colorless area. Find something that will make you smile every time you see it.
2.) Move a piece of furniture to a different room. Take an underused chair or bench and place it in the entry foyer or hallway. It becomes a wonderful place to display an heirloom doll or quilt.
3.) Pull out your china and set the dining room table as if company is coming. Add sparkle to the room with freshly polished silver. We keep our pretty things stored up until a special occasion and don't enjoy them enough. Change that by creating the room that you visualized when you choose your china as a young bride.
Now Tell Me, How Do You Feel?
Now that you have made a quick change to your home, don't you feel great? You are probably motivated to move on to one of those big projects on your wish list.
Go for it! Your HGTV friends will be proud.
To Delightful Decorating,
- Melisa
